Symba's Sílvio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Esperanza Fútbol Club's Nihat Mesut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Umay in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esperanza Fútbol Club's Mauricio Lano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Esperanza Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
