The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anis Achour came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Original Sabahan's Joko Waluyo. But to his dismay, Joko Waluyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Symba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dewa Kooth was slow to take the kick. During this time Original Sabahan's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Original Sabahan's corner Fadhly Haryanto-Ie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anis Achour quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Original Sabahan got a corner. Symba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dewa Kooth ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Original Sabahan's corner Dewa Kooth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anis Achour quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute, Joko Waluyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anis Achour was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Joko Waluyo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joko Waluyo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Joko Waluyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Symba booed when Original Sabahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabahattin Sanih didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Joko Waluyo made the kick off in the second half. Egil Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás San Juan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Original Sabahan from getting a goal against them. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Cecep Wijaya replaced Jojo Guci. The audience was convinced that Joko Waluyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anis Achour was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 75 minutes of play, Original Sabahan's Cristoforo Strazzabosco made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anis Achour was left in no man's land by his defense there! Original Sabahan made a substitution. Yahya Kılıçaslan replaced Joko Waluyo. The Symba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anis Achour should have stopped the shot. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Kılıçaslan in the 94th minute of play. The Original Sabahan players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
