The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Manuelo got free with Froilan Jacob in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 8th minute of play. Karol Antoszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 16th minute of play. 罗霖朗 kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jorge Martínez's shot from long distance in the 18th minute was not bad at all, but ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Froilan Jacob knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 24 minutes into the match, Mauricio Manuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Jacob. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Manuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Froilan Jacob successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute Talleres were awarded a corner. Jorge Martínez went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s zone, Mauricio Manuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Jacob came out of the goal and Mauricio Manuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Talleres booed when ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Jacob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 46 minutes on the clock, Bruno Goiano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Talleres booed when ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Talleres's Sergiu Bulencea was substituted for Lukita Modrić. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Manuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute, Mauricio Manuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Jacob was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Ezequiel Maldonado was substituted for Krzysztof Wilk. With 98 minutes on the clock, Claudinei Gonçalves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Talleres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★:s goal. Talleres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
