Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fadhly Haryanto-Ie in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Joko Waluyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egil Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joko Waluyo in the 11th minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Karol Ruszkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Doicaru in the 19th minute of play. Karol Ruszkowski came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Original Sabahan's Fadhly Haryanto-Ie. But to his dismay, Fadhly Haryanto-Ie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Joko Waluyo came free, but Karol Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egil Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf King in the 27th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Hadi Özilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf King. The audience was convinced that Joko Waluyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Ruszkowski was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Karol Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joko Waluyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Original Sabahan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Mirciulescu in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Aristide Mirciulescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karol Ruszkowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Joko Waluyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Original Sabahan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Zgierskie Zlewy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Original Sabahan were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joko Waluyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fadhly Haryanto-Ie got free with Karol Ruszkowski in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Original Sabahan's Cristoforo Strazzabosco was substituted for Jojo Guci. 68 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Strazzabosco came free, but Karol Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's Joko Waluyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karol Ruszkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes Zgierskie Zlewy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristide Mirciulescu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Original Sabahan's corner Aristide Mirciulescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karol Ruszkowski quite easily take care of the ball.
