Froilan Jacob made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Samuel Griffin sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Milian to strike the kick off in the second half. Rahim Kornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Milian came free, but Rahim Kornes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Rahim Kornes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Hugo Basso hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Paulo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Basilio Silbestre sped through Seraċini Għawdxin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rahim Kornes. Froilan Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
