Viktor Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 55th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kurt Hamrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skövde AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Hamrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izydor Karbowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Viktor Pettersson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz. But to his dismay, Ilie Hurmuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Hans Petersson got a free kick in the 88th minute.
