In the 17th minute Tomás San Juan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Timo!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gus Wootton who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Wincenty Solibieda drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Timo!'s goalkeeper. Symba's Anis Achour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Symba from getting a goal against them. Anis Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Benvenuto in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Ilie Hurmuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timo!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Hurmuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás San Juan in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Benvenuto came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Karbowski in the 34th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Symba's corner Gus Wootton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Amor quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Benvenuto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Izydor Karbowski came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Timo! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Karbowski couldn't finish the play. In the 58thth minute of the game Franco Benvenuto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Symba's Anis Achour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Benvenuto scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anis Achour, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Benvenuto in the 63rd minute of play. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Hurmuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Burutzagi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ilie Hurmuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anis Achour having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Timo! fans cheered their team off the field, for while Symba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
