The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Palmeira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Igor Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Santista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 56th minute, one of Real Santista FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Santista FC. In the 57th minute, Paraguay got a penalty, and Jaime Pardo placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 60th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Real Santista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Pires to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Perez's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Umberto Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paraguay played a much better game than Real Santista FC and deserved their victory. The Real Santista FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
