Rosendo Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Vidal in the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Fábio Silva made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Vidal in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Avery Novak could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Rogério Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitória StrikerS™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogério Vidal in the 35th minute. The corner led Vitória StrikerS™'s Fábio Silva to a score. 3-1 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Rogério Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avery Novak got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Vitória StrikerS™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rosendo Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avery Novak. 44 minutes into the match, Rogério Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Fábio Gouveia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes, Fábio Gouveia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitória StrikerS™ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Gouveia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Vitória StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Rosendo Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 73rd minute of play forced Vitória StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Rosendo Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Lisboa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Oinatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. A collision led to Vitória StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. João Boaventura hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Oinatz. Vitória StrikerS™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The attack was good, but when Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vitória StrikerS™'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Sancho 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-3. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Oinatz having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vitória StrikerS™ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
