The supporters of FC Viper booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wasyl Rutkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Ignacy Bierfass when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Rutkowski in the 75th minute of the match. Wasyl Rutkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Viper's Ignacy Bierfass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Viper from getting a goal against them.
