The Raaojen fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Raaojen's Nildo Fernandes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Raaojen's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mustafa Haydar Yalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Raaojen's goalkeeper Mustafa Haydar Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Raaojen's Mustafa Haydar Yalaz. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Arnulfo Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. Arnulfo Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The Raaojen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Bastiaro made a kick off. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Raaojen booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Haydar Yalaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raaojen.
