Lawerence Marion hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Lawerence Marion got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Marcos having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Felix Beetens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Santo Marcos in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Marcos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Marcos. BEITAR JERUSALEM FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
