Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play forced ATOWN's goalkeeper Gabriel Ingmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ATOWN defense, Moises Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ingmann. The ATOWN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ingmann should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ingmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Ingmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Espinar in the 39th minute of play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The corner led to ATOWN's Volmer Houland getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Fidele in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Ruperto Fidele made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of ATOWN booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATOWN's Gabriel Ingmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ATOWN from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes in the game Amador Normando did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cornelius Gother. 77 minutes into the game, Moises Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATOWN the free kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gabriel Ingmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 81 minutes, Cornelius Gother mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATOWN and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ATOWN's Cornelius Gother got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The ATOWN fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when ATOWN's Ruperto Fidele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ATOWN's Amador Normando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian Sancho in the 87 minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, ATOWN's Ruperto Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Fidele in the 89th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ATOWN.
