Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Kaká Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Ferreira in the 17th minute of play. The corner ended in Romarinho Silva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Crisal's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Valle came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Atlético de Crisal defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Valle. The Atlético de Crisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Valle should have stopped the shot. If Kaká Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kaká Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Atlético de Crisal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Ferreira couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Ferreira to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romarinho Silva in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Ferreira in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Crisal from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Ferreira in the 67th minute of the match. Atlético de Crisal's Cido Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Luís Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético de Crisal and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Luís Vergílio. Atlético de Crisal made a substitution. Henrique dos Santos replaced Alessandro Goiano. When José Augusto Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Crisal's protests and gave José Augusto Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Crisal's José Augusto Figueiredo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Miranda in the 86th minute of play. When Salvador Gisbert was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. The supporters of Atlético de Crisal booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Miranda came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Adelino Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético de Crisal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
