After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Norbert Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Pogoń Szczecin's Manos Trachanas to a score. 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 19th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Donzel to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Major couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Sebastião Xoxe in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Szczecin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest.
