If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Conte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. Davide Conte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Conte saved Alba FC from getting behind. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Conte having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Cino got free with Dante Lacasa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Donato Amatori made the kick off in the second half. Alba FC's Davide Conte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Alba FC from getting a goal against them. Davide Conte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 54th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Davide Conte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Banana to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Giocondo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Davide Conte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-3 in the 95th minute.
