Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Almstedt in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ted Almstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Almstedt in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Runa United's Ted Almstedt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 17 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Ted Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Eriksson in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Åhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Boumans in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Runa United's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Åhlberg came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Eriksson in the 67th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nils-Erik Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Andreasson's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Andreasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Joel Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Runa United's Ted Almstedt. But to his dismay, Ted Almstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Almstedt came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Boumans during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Harry Boumans got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Runa United could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
