Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNITED's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colon Manrique saved UNITED from getting behind. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNITED's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoilo Sauca in the 10th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Zoilo Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Zoilo Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced UNITED's goalkeeper Colon Manrique to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darío Cabrol made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Elmas Bobo however managed to control. 27 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UNITED the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, UNITED's Zoilo Sauca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Colon Manrique reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 38 in the game by Zoilo Sauca from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute of the match UNITED got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Darien Toxeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Elmas Bobo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNITED's protests and gave Elmas Bobo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UNITED getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Elmas Bobo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as UNITED's Zoilo Sauca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 after 48 minutes of play.
Colon Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoilo Sauca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Colon Manrique managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zoilo Sauca managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoilo Sauca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colon Manrique came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Zoilo Sauca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. With his leg Colon Manrique managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colon Manrique saved UNITED from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colon Manrique prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoilo Sauca went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rdth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNITED's Colon Manrique was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, UNITED's Zoilo Sauca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UNITED had won after a very even match.
