Witalis Sowa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in RAKMO's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyryl Soszka came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cyryl Soszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, 庄潮勇 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cyryl Soszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cyryl Soszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, RAKMO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cyryl Soszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyryl Soszka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cyryl Soszka could save by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cyryl Soszka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Cyryl Soszka managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Luis Andino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cyryl Soszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cyryl Soszka made a huge save. A collision led to RAKMO getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Barnaba Lichucki hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Cyryl Soszka threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cyryl Soszka was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Radomil Zawacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Cyryl Soszka managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Radomil Zawacki kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
