Edmundo Espiga did an outstanding performance 21 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Mastur Bandov in the goal. Christian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mastur Bandov having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mastur Bandov. In the 31st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Honduras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Falcão Britto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gláuber Cerezo, made in the 41st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gláuber Cerezo in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Silveira took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira. But to his dismay, Basílio Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 75 minutes in the game Yetkin Hekim did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Falcão Britto. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Daniel Ghițescu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Ghițescu couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Silveira in the 87th minute of play. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Falcão Britto in the 88th minute. Falcão Britto made a great header on Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Daniel Ghițescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Daniel Ghițescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
