Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Nixon in the 20th minute of the match. Juan Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Klingsmoos were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after AKI CORINTHIANS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ghitã Pârlea took the corner. After taking down the ball on SV Klingsmoos's corner Ghitã Pârlea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paredes Fortes quite easily take care of the ball. Anselmo Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Fortes having to interfere. SV Klingsmoos's Che Doderer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anier Larra in the 42 minute of the game. In the 44th minute Richard Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Richard Nixon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paredes Fortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute SV Klingsmoos were awarded a corner. Ghitã Pârlea went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to SV Klingsmoos's Pablo Slier getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Oscar Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berthold Bach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Brasil in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Vânderson Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Nixon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paredes Fortes. That made the score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. SV Klingsmoos's David Lebon was substituted for Torsten Henning. Richard Nixon came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paredes Fortes could save by the left post. After 73 minutes AKI CORINTHIANS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ghitã Pârlea who took care of the corner kick. Che Doderer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SV Klingsmoos's Peter Boehme was substituted for Pablo Slier. In the 82nd minute Richard Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Nixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SV Klingsmoos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
