But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Dică couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Răzvan Zamfira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Constantin Dică reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 1-0. Silviu Apostol struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC AdibA. With 31 minutes on the clock, Iker Tafalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paraguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Jacobo Nores had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Sandu Gordunescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Constantin Dică struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC AdibA. Constantin Dică succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Ionuț Istrăteanu made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sandu Gordunescu however managed to control. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Dică in the 39th minute of the match. If Silviu Apostol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Covarrubias to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Constantin Dică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Dică came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC AdibA's Constantin Dică. But to his dismay, Constantin Dică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Paraguay booed when FC AdibA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Apostol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Dică succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The audience was convinced that Sandu Gordunescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Dică in the 71st minute of the match. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Șerban Oancea went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Dică in the 78th minute of play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Gordunescu in the 80th minute of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Sandu Gordunescu sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 87th minute, Răzvan Zamfira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Șerban Oancea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Gordunescu in the 95th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC AdibA.
