Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonides Meder kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Meder, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Narciso Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 8th minute of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Leonides Meder sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Windingo's Leonides Meder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Feliciano Herensuge sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Meder took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Feliciano Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Windingo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Leonides Meder sent off a good shot on target. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Leonides Meder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Windingo's Leonides Meder shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Leonides Meder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Windingo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Meder in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Leonides Meder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes, Leonides Meder made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Meder, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Meder in the 67th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Windingo's Leonides Meder made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narciso Chus was a little too slow when Axel Tasis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 7-1. Filiberto Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. If Leonides Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Windingo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Cresenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Chus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alan Moruga. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Oinaz in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Filiberto Oinaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Windingo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Windingo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
