Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Rolf Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes, USA's Cassius Byrne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixten Tunander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in USA reached it. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ozan Heybetli sent off a good shot on target. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of the match. Sixten Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Edward Mcdonald tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sixten Tunander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sixten Tunander made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozan Heybetli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 61 in the game by Cassius Byrne from a close distance when the talented Sixten Tunander managed to make a qualified save. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's players were relieved. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Diego Bradley heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sixten Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Hammarby Sjöstad booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 70th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Hammarby Sjöstad made a substitution. Greger von Opel replaced Rafail Klenov. Sixten Tunander was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Sam Campbell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sam Campbell really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Khalid Parry sped through FC Hammarby Sjöstad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sixten Tunander. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sixten Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 88th minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 91st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Ozan Heybetli sped through USA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Day.
