The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Borgo Doria F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bayern Boliviano:s goal. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Bayern Boliviano. Corrado Spitaleri made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Håkan Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Ercole Mian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Giorgio. Bayern Boliviano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Mian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
