If Roger Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Veto Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veto Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Veto Bernal put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 13th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Redisz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wasyl Redisz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wasyl Redisz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasyl Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gökalp Gümüşcüoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Gorosti Quintanilla. In the 36th minute, Ximun Zaldos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Roger Bannister put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Rayland FC's Roger Bannister in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Bannister in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roger Bannister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 66 minutes, Veto Bernal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rayland FC's Mariano Bombarda was substituted for Veto Bernal. Rayland FC's Arnoldo Loco was substituted for Delfino Tegeiro. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Bannister in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gökalp Gümüşcüoğlu made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayland FC the free kick. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After 84 minutes of play, Rayland FC's Ximun Zaldos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximun Zaldos in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eloi Bermudo was slow to take the kick. During this time Rayland FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Rayland FC's corner Eloi Bermudo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bannister in the 90th minute of the match. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Rayland FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Rayland FC's Gökalp Gümüşcüoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. Ximun Zaldos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rayland FC.
