Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Torsten Petersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Camilo Freixa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Göteborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Fernandino was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolivia's players had a chance to rest. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florin Dorlea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfonso de la Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Dorlea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Dorlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Kilman. Florin Dorlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso de la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Torsten Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Vitaliy Krylatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Joachim Hägg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joachim Hägg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Javier Oskarbi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Dorlea having to interfere. After 48 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Javier Oskarbi. Florin Dorlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

52 minutes into the game, Mattias Kilman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Göteborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. The supporters of Bolivia booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joachim Hägg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Tejedor. In the 66th minute, Mario Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Petersson in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florin Dorlea. That made the score 1-2 after 72 minutes of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Torsten Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Hägg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ismael Tejedor hit a great ball. After 88 minutes, Julio Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the IFK Göteborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Hägg in the 98th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The IFK Göteborg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bolivia's performance. The match ended with a win for Bolivia.
