Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Algirdas Radzevičius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 5th minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avraam Sevastopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Robos in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Tomáš Řehák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Avraam Sevastopoulos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Thanasis Robos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vaggelis Lalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. YELLOW FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomáš Řehák in the 29th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Robos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avraam Sevastopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomáš Řehák who took care of the corner kick. Avraam Sevastopoulos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YELLOW FC. YELLOW FC made a substitution. Jan-Olof Kämpe replaced Tomáš Řehák. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 54th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, YELLOW FC's Thanasis Robos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avraam Sevastopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Thanasis Robos sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Robos in the 71st minute of play. Avraam Sevastopoulos took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, Thanasis Robos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thanasis Robos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Spyros Kazantzakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Robos's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Spyros Kazantzakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by YELLOW FC's Spyros Kazantzakos. But to his dismay, Spyros Kazantzakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 95th minute Spyros Kazantzakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanasis Robos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that YELLOW FC were the better team. YELLOW FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
