Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kaj Låsberg got the match started through his kick off. Godfredo Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cuenca came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lautaro Mancebo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Guto Jacinto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guto Jacinto. AFC Cherries's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kaj Låsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Radek Rokos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC Cherries fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 35 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Guto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lautaro Mancebo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guto Jacinto could save by the left post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Cherries's Markus Jordán was substituted for Václav Buš. In the 68th minute Luciano Cuenca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Låsberg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Låsberg scored 2-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Barroso came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Jacinto. Guto Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. AFC Cherries's František Jakubec was substituted for Kaj Låsberg. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Christian Backman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Zorita in the 96th minute. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
