To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Motta. 14 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Martinsson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Martinsson in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Andersson having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Simon Martinsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Andersson. Stoke FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 64 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pontus Granlund who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelinho Motta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Niclas Andersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute. Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of the match. Niclas Andersson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goalkeeper Niclas Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Motta in the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Marcelinho Motta made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stoke FF.
