Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jüri Djorkaeff in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th minute Enrique Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Sjö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö got control of the ball when Güralp Ergüleç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto in the 22nd minute of play. Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 25th minute of play. When Florian Mondrowski fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portus Ganda's protests and gave Florian Mondrowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Mondrowski to maneuver through the defense. Archie Brodie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Portus Ganda's Eliseu Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Sjö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tony Vanbuyten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Ove Stål's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes in the game Florian Mondrowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mike Hoeybroeck. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Florian Mondrowski hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Eliseu Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sven-Ove Stål made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Vanbuyten came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål. But to his dismay, Sven-Ove Stål quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garsås IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jüri Djorkaeff was slow to take the kick. During this time Portus Ganda's players had a chance to rest. Portus Ganda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jüri Djorkaeff in the 62nd minute. Tony Vanbuyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Cesaroni. Angelo Mino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sven-Ove Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Vanbuyten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Sven-Ove Stål struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tony Vanbuyten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garsås IF. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jüri Djorkaeff, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Enrique Jacinto got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mike Hoeybroeck. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güralp Ergüleç in the 94th minute of the match. When Portus Ganda's Güralp Ergüleç in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garsås IF's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Güralp Ergüleç sped through Garsås IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfons Sjö.
