Zeng Ting Xing took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Eguen. Celedonio Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th minute Santiago Meruendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Ali Vedat Çelikyay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Salgado in the 27th minute of play. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Robinho Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Vedat Çelikyay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Vedat Çelikyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Salgado in the 30th minute of the match. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Pan Zheng Li suffered a concussion in the 40th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Rozarius during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Union Y Progreso F.C. made a substitution. Ignacio Barquin replaced Pan Zheng Li. A collision led to Matheu City FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Blas Rozarius hit a great ball. Blas Rozarius scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Vedat Çelikyay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Robinho Salgado made the kick off in the second half. Ali Vedat Çelikyay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zeng Ting Xing could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Celedonio Eguen however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute, Minas Makris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Vedat Çelikyay was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Meruendano in the 72nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Union Y Progreso F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
