The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Milanese got free with Saturnino Sol in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Angelo Milanese got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guy Rothe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Saturnino Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Milanese got free with Saturnino Sol in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Saunders in the 20th minute of the match. Saturnino Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Daller in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to C.A.P.J. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leon Goretzka hit a great ball. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Mendy in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Angelo Milanese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Feng Jing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sebastian Titz made a huge save. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Cebi in the 63rd minute of play. Ferdinand Mendy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino Sol. C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serafin Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Titz having to interfere. After some careless play in the C.A.P.J. defense, Emanuel Ogășanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Sol. The C.A.P.J. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Sol should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Criston in the 95th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Titz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Milanese in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Sol saved C.A.P.J. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Armando Abeita got a free kick in the 97th minute. Nicodim Alecu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Titz. Sydney FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sydney FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
