Sokratis Krak hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Brasiliense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Carlos Santana scored to the left of an out of position Lionel 柯景义, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho de Barros in the 14th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lionel 柯景义 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Krak in the 16th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Alfredinho de Barros. But to his dismay, Alfredinho de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel 柯景义 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Brasiliense FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cauan Catarinense fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th minute Afiz Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Clemente de Medeiros got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Santana to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhu Xiao Yang in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Giovanelli saved Galo do Japi from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sokratis Krak made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Sokratis Krak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel 柯景义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Ringaa ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Sokratis Krak came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sokratis Krak couldn't finish the play. Lionel 柯景义 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Catarinense in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galo do Japi's Sokratis Krak fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 79 minutes, Cauan Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Afiz Phua sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Caca-Rato. With a little luck, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli got control of the ball when Pedrão Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afiz Phua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sokratis Krak in the 88th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Lionel 柯景义 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Brasiliense FC's Alfredinho de Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronaldo Giovanelli. Ronaldo Giovanelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 95th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Phua to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brasiliense FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
