The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 5th minute of the match. Bror Ståhlman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Stål in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Casomiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 10th minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Stål, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charlie Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Casomiro having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Atlético Rovesco got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Henry. Armando Casomiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Ove Stål's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Armando Casomiro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål. But to his dismay, Sven-Ove Stål quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alfons Sjö made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Lucas Furtado sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Atlético Rovesco's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Armando Casomiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Rovesco booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Ståhlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Malcoci. After 47 played minutes Atlético Rovesco got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Marko. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Casomiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sven-Ove Stål had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garsås IF's Morgan Norberg was substituted for Enrico Cesaroni. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rovesco's Conrado Hustaz got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Ciano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ola Lund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Casomiro having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Ola Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fulgencio Ciano in the 86 minute of the game. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Rovesco from getting a goal against them. Ola Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 minutes, Ola Lund made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Garsås IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
