Lionel 柯景义 made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Rafal Cichewski sent off a good shot on target. Jan Smolarek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Lionel 柯景义 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Jan Smolarek made a precise shot to the right of Lionel 柯景义. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Zhu Xiao Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eşref Tuney was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Smolarek to strike the kick off in the second half.
