The audience was convinced that Önder Cebi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eşref Tuney was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 8th minute of the match, Lucas Beltrán tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Titz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eşref Tuney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Önder Cebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Önder Cebi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetevendosje FC's Eşref Tuney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sydney FC's Armando Abeita got a free kick in the 18th minute. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Cichewski in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Vetevendosje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Eşref Tuney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A beautiful save bye Vetevendosje FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Ogășanu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eşref Tuney saved Vetevendosje FC from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Karl Finnman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Smolarek in the 83rd minute of play. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
