Eşref Tuney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Buczko in the 10th minute of the match. Feliks Szkarpiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ACF Gigliati's Artur Hodyl got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Andy Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Vetevendosje FC fans jumped to their feet. Vetevendosje FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACF Gigliati the free kick. The supporters of ACF Gigliati booed when Vetevendosje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Smolarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Szkarpiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Beltrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
