In the 26th minute, Ove Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Ove Salkvist made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Jonasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Veronica was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 51st minute of play. The BK Gubbhöft fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fidel Veronica took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. The BK Gubbhöft fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After 72 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans-Georg Luabunnum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 91st minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
