With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Genaro Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnni Kirkskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Genaro Procopio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnni Kirkskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, BK Skjold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Shantala to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eduino in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BK Skjold's Mo Qi Zheng got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Eduino made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Johnni Kirkskov quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Jose Eduino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johnni Kirkskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. BK Skjold were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
