BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jose Eduino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Jose Eduino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Eduino in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Johnni Kirkskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lionel Messias. Johnni Kirkskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnni Kirkskov. Johnni Kirkskov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mo Qi Zheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Jose Eduino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, BK Skjold's Jose Eduino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnni Kirkskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eduino in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnni Kirkskov having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnni Kirkskov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnni Kirkskov having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Fontirroig got free with Johnni Kirkskov in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Xavier Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
