The audience thought a goal was coming when Veniamin Markov got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the game, Pavel Ivanteev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Unica FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nikita Gudkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sevastyan Lemeshevskiy came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aybar Bayezit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aybar Bayezit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aybar Bayezit came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikita Gudkov having to make a save. After having played for 79 minutes, Veniamin Markov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veniamin Markov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Gudkov having to interfere. Nikita Gudkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 87 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Markov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Unica FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
