The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Hammarby Gård's Sven-Oskar Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Thor Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Emanuel Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Dahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, one of Hammarby Gård:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lennart Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
