Deyan Adamski scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Genadi Gotzev sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Bletsios in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genadi Gotzev, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by MIHAEL's Genadi Gotzev. But to his dismay, Genadi Gotzev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 40 minutes into the game, Roberto Trevisan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Blagovest Hristanov fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIHAEL's protests and gave Blagovest Hristanov a yellow card for diving instead. Blagovest Hristanov hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Igor Vapordzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. Igor Vapordzhiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deyan Adamski in the 51st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Igor Vapordzhiev made a huge save. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after MIHAEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Igor Vapordzhiev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Bletsios in the 67th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Vapordzhiev having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genadi Gotzev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 78th match minute, MIHAEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofoklis Bletsios to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetlin Vakanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by MIHAEL's Deyan Adamski. But to his dismay, Deyan Adamski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Igor Vapordzhiev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Svetlin Vakanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. MIHAEL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
