Stadium of Light
Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paja Gagro started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trpimir Efendić. Trpimir Efendić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Sanderlend defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trpimir Efendić. The Sanderlend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trpimir Efendić should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trpimir Efendić having to make a save. Juan Sebastián Puig took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trpimir Efendić. Trpimir Efendić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Sanderlend getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bekir Pozegić hit a great ball. Elmas Nasirović kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Trpimir Efendić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trpimir Efendić came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trpimir Efendić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trpimir Efendić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Daniel Zorita sped through Sanderlend's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trpimir Efendić. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Trpimir Efendić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Himzija Jakubović charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Himzija Jakubović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sanderlend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Himzija Jakubović didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Trpimir Efendić. Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Trpimir Efendić made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Trpimir Efendić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Trpimir Efendić. Sanderlend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trpimir Efendić having to make a save. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Trpimir Efendić made a huge save. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Trpimir Efendić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 93rd minute of play forced Sanderlend's goalkeeper Trpimir Efendić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
