With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario-Nicasio Zanabria in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Donald Lockby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of play. Donald Lockby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Donald Lockby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donald Lockby having to make a save. After 27 played minutes Vikings of Dania got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Arthury. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Klaus Arthury with Korneliusz Pozorski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Karsten Plougsgaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Karsten Plougsgaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Mario-Nicasio Zanabria arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Plougsgaard came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Absalon Skovsdal who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Henning Føltved heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 57th match minute, Vikings of Dania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Arthury to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Vikings of Dania got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Plougsgaard. Vikings of Dania's Donald Lockby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Korneliusz Pozorski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Klaus Arthury was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. Klaus Arthury kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Lockby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Pozorski in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Absalon Skovsdal who took care of the corner kick. Vikings of Dania's Absalon Skovsdal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd match minute, Vikings of Dania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Føltved to maneuver through the defense. Henning Føltved kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play forced Vikings of Dania's goalkeeper Donald Lockby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Vikings of Dania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Føltved didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Pozorski in the 96th minute of the match. Vikings of Dania walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
