Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. When Haroldo Weather came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pannekoeken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Weather couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Weather's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Weather in the 15th minute of the match. Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Haroldo Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elbert Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elbert Haar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 24 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Weather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Hovenkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elbert Haar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Hovenkamp to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Elbert Haar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Haar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 42nd minute of the match Haroldo Weather completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Haroldo Weather a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Foyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ham Kaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ham Kaas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pannekoeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Ham Kaas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 59 minutes, Ham Kaas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ham Kaas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pannekoeken's Elbert Haar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Pannekoeken from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pannekoeken's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Elbert Haar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elbert Haar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Hovenkamp hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Elbert Haar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Andino in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elbert Haar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ham Kaas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ham Kaas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pannekoeken.
