Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Staicu. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ştefan Staicu sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calistrat Babeș kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ecuador's keeper Julio Vera was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raşit Özdilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Raşit Özdilek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Raşit Özdilek - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Raşit Özdilek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raşit Özdilek saved F.C Alex Bucuresti from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Staicu in the 35th minute of play. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raşit Özdilek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calistrat Babeș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Babeș in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match F.C Alex Bucuresti got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zak Soon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Zak Soon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Staicu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Staicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, F.C Alex Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Braru to maneuver through the defense. Calistrat Babeș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Özdilek having to interfere. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Raşit Özdilek made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Claudiu Braru kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
