Cyryl Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute, Armin Auru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0.

The supporters of Legion Etrangere booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Armin Auru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legion Etrangere's Kristofer Gustavson was substituted for Hardo Laos. The referee ignored Legion Etrangere's protests and gave Conrado Virila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Usub Saia made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
