The Club Del Gallo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 7th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlus Waugh to maneuver through the defense. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Freitas in the 9th minute. Ramón Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Club Del Gallo's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Ramón Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Délio Freitas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Délio Freitas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Vasconcelos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal. Ramón Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramón Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Torres in the 39th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ian Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Club Del Gallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Abraão couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

51 minutes into the game, Nando Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Del Gallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. A collision led to Club Del Gallo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nando Corrêa hit a great ball. Ramón Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlus Waugh in the 52nd minute of play. Ramón Vidal made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Finlay Stair sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finlay Stair in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nildo de Souza hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Club Del Gallo from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Délio Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Vidal having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Del Gallo defense, Finlay Stair kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Vidal. The Club Del Gallo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Vidal should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo de Souza during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nildo de Souza hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Finlay Stair sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Zé Paulo Torres put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Finlay Stair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ramón Vidal made a huge save. In the 90th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Club Del Gallo from getting a goal against them. Club Del Gallo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
